My target 99000 Steps
I’m taking on the 99,000 Steps Challenge to support Together for Short Lives.
From 15 - 21 June in Children's Hospice Week, I'll be completing 99,000 steps - a step for every child in the UK with a life-limiting condition.
In the UK, there are 52 children's hospices dedicated to caring for seriously ill children and their families. Children’s hospices bring precious moments of happiness to families with of children living with serious illness. But they’re under real funding pressure, without more support, they can’t provide all the care families rely on.
That's why I'm taking on this challenge to raise vital funds for Together for Short Lives and children's hospices, so they can continue to provide services and support for seriously ill children and families facing the unimaginable.

Tuesday 16th Jun I’m personally doing this challenge in memory of my brother (in the profile pic)and for other children like him. We as a family were supported by children’s hospice south west which is one of the 54 hospices that are helped by together for short lives. As a sibling of a child that was life limited I have some fond memories that’s were made possible by going to respite stays at the hospice. So as a thank you this challenge is the least I can do.
