I’m taking on the 99,000 Steps Challenge to support Together for Short Lives.

From 15 - 21 June in Children's Hospice Week, I'll be completing 99,000 steps - a step for every child in the UK with a life-limiting condition.

In the UK, there are 52 children's hospices dedicated to caring for seriously ill children and their families. Children’s hospices bring precious moments of happiness to families with of children living with serious illness. But they’re under real funding pressure, without more support, they can’t provide all the care families rely on. 

That's why I'm taking on this challenge to raise vital funds for Together for Short Lives and children's hospices, so they can continue to provide services and support for seriously ill children and families facing the unimaginable.

🚶‍♂️80,000 Steps Completed – On the Way to 99,000 for Together for Short Lives 💙

This week, I've taken on the challenge of walking 99,000 steps to raise awareness and support for Together for Short Lives, a charity that helps seriously ill children and their families make the most of every moment they have together.

I'm pleased to say I've now completed 80,000 steps, and while my feet are definitely feeling it, it's nothing compared to the challenges faced every day by the families this incredible charity supports.

Every step has reminded me why this cause matters. The support, encouragement, and donations I've received so far have been amazing, and I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who has followed my journey.

Just 19,000 steps to go until I reach my goal of 99,000 steps! Thank you to everyone who has supported me so far. Together, we're helping make a difference for children and families who need it most.
