I’m taking on the 99,000 Steps Challenge to support Together for Short Lives.

From 15 - 21 June in Children's Hospice Week, I'll be completing 99,000 steps - a step for every child in the UK with a life-limiting condition.

In the UK, there are 52 children's hospices dedicated to caring for seriously ill children and their families. Children’s hospices bring precious moments of happiness to families with of children living with serious illness. But they’re under real funding pressure, without more support, they can’t provide all the care families rely on. 

That's why I'm taking on this challenge to raise vital funds for Together for Short Lives and children's hospices, so they can continue to provide services and support for seriously ill children and families facing the unimaginable.

Starting the Steps!

Monday 15th Jun
Due to challenges this week I grasped the opportunity today to make a strong start to my step count. Almost 3hrs of solid woodland stomping with a friend and our dogs has seen almost a 13400 step count on day 1 so far. Thank for for dry weather this week to support this challenge!
