I’m taking on the 99,000 Steps Challenge to support Together for Short Lives.

From 16 - 22 June in Children's Hospice Week, I'll be completing 99,000 steps - one for every child in the UK with a life-limiting condition.
In the UK, there are 53 children's hospices dedicated to caring for seriously ill children and their families. However, these hospices face a funding shortfall and rely heavily on voluntary donations.
That's why I'm taking on this challenge to raise vital funds for Together for Short Lives and children's hospices, so they can continue to provide services and support for seriously ill children and families facing the unimaginable.
The picture above is my best friend, his partner and Florence, Florence has an undiagnosed neurological condition causing many health conditions for example calcification of the brain, feeding difficulties causing her to be tube fed, apnoea's and other chronic conditions.
Last year Florence left hospital to start her end of life journey but has shown how strong she really is and is still here fighting on. Despite endless struggles she is the happiest little girl you could ever meet.
