I’m taking on the 99,000 Steps Challenge to support Together for Short Lives.

From 16 - 22 June in Children's Hospice Week, I'll be completing 99,000 steps - one for every child in the UK with a life-limiting condition.

In the UK, there are 53 children's hospices dedicated to caring for seriously ill children and their families. However, these hospices face a funding shortfall and rely heavily on voluntary donations. 

That's why I'm taking on this challenge to raise vital funds for Together for Short Lives and children's hospices, so they can continue to provide services and support for seriously ill children and families facing the unimaginable.

The heat...

I am on day 5 now and only just half way through my steps, the heat and a week of exams at school is making this extra tough. I am determined to get my step count up this weekend though to try to complete this challenge!!

First day

Monday 16th Jun
My mock exams in school started today so I tried to squeeze in walking 10k!  I walked to and from school, went to the gym and then went for another walk in the evening with my mum so I did it!  Managed over 13k steps today, wonder what I will be able to do tomorrow…
