My target 99000 Steps
I’m taking on the 99,000 Steps Challenge to support Together for Short Lives.
From 15 - 21 June in Children's Hospice Week, I'll be completing 99,000 steps - a step for every child in the UK with a life-limiting condition.
In the UK, there are 52 children's hospices dedicated to caring for seriously ill children and their families. Children’s hospices bring precious moments of happiness to families with of children living with serious illness. But they’re under real funding pressure, without more support, they can’t provide all the care families rely on.
That's why I'm taking on this challenge to raise vital funds for Together for Short Lives and children's hospices, so they can continue to provide services and support for seriously ill children and families facing the unimaginable.

✨ Walking Towards Miss Teen Britain While Supporting Together for Short Lives ✨
Saturday 20th JunHello everyone!
My name is Summer-Grace Thompson, and I am proud to currently hold the title of Miss Grimsby 2026. In October, I will be representing my hometown as I compete in Miss Teen Britain 2026.
As part of my journey, I want to use my platform to make a difference and support an incredible charity, Together for Short Lives, which helps children with life-limiting conditions and their families receive the care, support and precious memories they deserve.
I have set myself a challenge of walking 99,000 steps and raising £99 for this amazing cause. Every step I take is for the brave children and families supported by the charity.
