My target 99000 Steps
I’m taking on the 99,000 Steps Challenge to support Together for Short Lives.
From 17 - 23 June in Children's Hospice Week, I'll be completing 99,000 steps - one for every child in the UK with a life-limiting condition.
In the UK, there are 54 children's hospices dedicated to caring for seriously ill children and their families. However, these hospices face a funding shortfall and rely heavily on voluntary donations.
That's why I'm taking on this challenge to raise vital funds for Together for Short Lives and children's hospices, so they can continue to provide services and support for seriously ill children and families facing the unimaginable.

Saturday 29th Jun Last Sunday I have completed the 99,000 steps as part of this challenge and I wanted to say another thank you to everyone who has donated or sent kind messages in the last month of fundraising. I have finished the challenge with a total of over £400 which I am so proud of being able to achieve! so again, THANK YOU!! Share

Friday 31st May I'm so grateful to everyone who has donated so far for how much I have managed to raise! Thanks to everyone already donating I have been able to up my goal to £500 so I can continue to raise money before and during walking 99000 steps (just worked out that that is about 79km (49.5 mi) in steps over a week, eek!)
